Our department provides police services to a Town of 2,541 residents (2021). The Brooklyn Police Department employs 2 full-time paid officers and 10 reserve officers. The mission of the Brooklyn Police Department is to provide community-oriented law enforcement designed to protect life and property, by means of the highest professional standards, while affording dignity and respect to every individual. To serve as the first line of defense concerning Homeland Security, through proactive criminal intelligence and analysis, as well as preparedness to respond to critical incidents.
